Logo and flyer design for Umm Kulsum

Umm Kulsum is a beautiful project offering personalized follow-up through nutrition, as well as emotional and logistic support during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. 

For Gara, the woman behind Umm Kulsum, the pear is a highly nutritious food, which greatly represents that special care she offers. That is why we used the pear for the logo. At the same time, Gara wanted to draw an analogy between the roundness of the pear and the woman’s body during pregnancy. 

It was important to transmit that tender loving care, so we decided to combine a clean rounded font for the words Umm Kulsum, with a handwritten one for the subheading. This second font is also rounded and gets to highlight the human factor.
